Whole V.S. Split Antler Chews

Split antlers are just whole antlers cut in half to expose the yummy, nutrient-rich inner marrow.  The whole antlers will last longer due to the harder outer layer, but don’t provide immediate access to the inner marrow, so they may be more appropriate for adult dogs and heavy chewers.   Split antlers won’t be quite as durable as wholes, but since the inner marrow is softer than the outer layer, you may feel more comfortable offering the splits to puppies and senior dogs with more sensitive teeth.  For this reason, we offer both the whole and split option in the Small size antlers.  The Medium and Large Antler Chews are all wholes.
